Add Links To A Zoomcatalog

Add internal links and hyperlinks to your catalog PDF to make your ZOOMcatalog interesting and interactive.

There are two different types of links you can add to your PDF pages prior to uploading it to ZOOMcatalog.

1. External links: These will take the user to a webpage from your catalog.

2. Internal links: These will take the user to another page in the catalog itself.

If you add external and/or internal links to your catalog PDF, they will be imported into your ZOOMcatalog, which will make your catalog more dynamic and interactive.

1. How to add external links to your PDF in Adobe Acrobat Pro

These are links in the catalog that will take the user from an area on a catalog page to a webpage.

Use external links to add additional information to your catalog. For example, you can link a product in your catalog, to a product page on your website.

Tip - if you are linking a customizable catalog (ZOOMcustom), add links that go to an unbranded website (without your company information).

  1. Open your catalog PDF on a page where you want to add links.

  2. Choose Tools > Edit PDF > Link > Add/Edit Web or Document Link.

  3. Drag a rectangle where you want to create a link. This is the area in which the link is active.

  4. In the Link, Action section select Open a web page.

  5. In the Create Link dialog box, choose the options you want for the link appearance. (We recommend an invisible rectangle)

  6. Click ok and copy and paste the URL you want to take the user to in the box.

  7. Click OK.

Once you have added all your links to your PDF, save it and upload it to your ZOOMcatalog dashboard.
